I’m participating in Hooptober 5.0 on Letterboxd

I came across a horror movie challenge on Letterboxd called Hooptober. Simply put, watch and review 31 movies in October (although we can start as early as September 15th), and the movie has to satisfy one of the requirements. Here’s the original post.

I decided to join, even though it’s incredibly unlikely I will successfully complete the challenge. That’s fine though. I’ll use this blog post to keep track of my progress and link to my reviews.

A film can count for more than one category, but I’m going to make it harder on myself and try to watch one film per category. That’s why my list, below, is more than 31 films.

If you’re on Letterboxd, here’s my official list. It’ll change as I actually watch movies. Feel free to add me on Letterboxd!

MY LIST (so far)

UPDATE 9/9: I overhauled my list quite a bit. I think I narrowed it down to something that’s more feasible. i also had to update it to reflect the movies I plan on seeing at Brooklyn Horror Fest.

UPDATE 9/14: I replaced and added some. Decided to take Pumpkinhead off, even though I want to watch it, I’ve already seen it and so I think it would be more fun to watch a movie I haven’t seen yet.
